How joyful God is to see a heart that wants to please Him! I can’t give you a black and white response, but I will encourage you to pray. (That’s so much better anyway)
It is wise of you to consider who your friends are and how they affect you!
1 Corinthians 15:33 says, “Do not be misled. ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’”
Remember, God wants you to be able to obey Him. He always makes that possible. If we aren’t watching Him, it can seem really hard, but “the one who calls you is faithful and He will do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
Here are some key things to keep in mind. Let all your actions be motivated by love. Godly love does not always please people, but it ALWAYS wants the very best for them, and the “very best” is a deeper love for Christ.
Pray for your friends. Pray for God’s will. If He wants you to make new friends and pull away from your friends (not because you’re better but because He is not glorified there), then trust Him that He will give you the strength to do it and that He will provide new friends to encourage and challenge you. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” He wants to help you obey Him.
