How joyful God is to see a heart that wants to please Him! I can’t give you a black and white response, but I will encourage you to pray. (That’s so much better anyway)
It is wise of you to consider who your friends are and how they affect you!
1 Corinthians 15:33 says, “Do not be misled. ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’”
Remember, God wants you to be able to obey Him. He always makes that possible. If we aren’t watching Him, it can seem really hard, but “the one who calls you is faithful and He will do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
Here are some key things to keep in mind. Let all your actions be motivated by love. Godly love does not always please people, but it ALWAYS wants the very best for them, and the “very best” is a deeper love for Christ.
Pray for your friends. Pray for God’s will. If He wants you to make new friends and pull away from your friends (not because you’re better but because He is not glorified there), then trust Him that He will give you the strength to do it and that He will provide new friends to encourage and challenge you. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” He wants to help you obey Him.

Dear Vicky I have a very good friend who is a catholic and feel God is calling him to be something more than what he is (to have a closer realtionship) I try encouring, and witnessing to him, but I feel that my feelings for him and doing God's will are at crossroads. I know I need to work on focusing on loving God and doing his will, and I know I can't be more than friends because I want to do what God wants, but its hard.I still like him and I can't stand the thought of him being in hell. What should I do?

Labelling yourself a 'christian' doesnt make you a christian, its having a relationship with God.
Catholics, Mormons, Presbytarians,Pentecostals... If each person has that relationship with God, there a christian.
I think the issue with Catholics is that they pray to the virgin mary aswell. . and alot of people who label themselves a christian, think that thats like praying to a false idol..
However, Im not really sure what the deal with all that is.. all i know is you need a relationship with God..
"For i am the way, the truth and the life.. no one comes to the father except through me". John ....
