Have you guys seen the previews for the new reality show True Beauty, and if so, are you planning on watching it? As a matter of fact I'm curious to know what y'all think of reality shows in general. The basic premise is that there are 10 contestants who think they're being judged on their beauty but they're secretly being judged on their inner beauty. I'm pretty tired of reality shows, but I'm interested in seeing what Hollywood's criteria is for real beauty... the kind that's on the inside... the kind that really matters. So if y'all are planning on watching and want to talk this thing out, let's do it! The show airs next Monday night, January 5th, and you need to make sure your parents are cool with you watching it because it might be totally inappropriate. It could actually be a good one to watch WITH your parents if you're up for working on that whole communicating with the folks thing. Good conversation starter. i found it so sad how highly they think of themselves, so highly in fact that it puts everyone around them down. they even admit to doing whatever it takes to be the center of attention. i think its great to have self confidence but your self confidense should be "weak enough", i guess thats what you would call it, to be able to accept that no one is perfect, and that yes there are faults within everyone and you should be able to except this. i want to tune into this show to see how they judge inner beauty. it will be interesting the way the very coneceited contestants interact with another.

I think that this is a very interesting premise for a reality show, but I am leery of watching it because of the junk I know will be spouted by the contestants. Even the commercials I have seen are so full of anger and spite that it just makes me feel dirty. I don't believe that it will be worth digging through the bad language and attitudes to see the true beauty in this show.

I do think that most of them are just plain stinkers. But I do think that under some of those tight outfits, there's a few good hearts out there. Julia does think a lot of herself, but she seems nice. I hate that Chelsea says she "knows" she is perfect. And at least Hadiyyah-Lah says she's thankful. But I do know that they are flaunting whatever they have and wasting money on excessive clothing and makeup just to get people to look at them. But my opinion is that, even though she might be hiding her personality, Julia is by far my favorite. I hope to watch this show and see how it turns out.

I have to admit, i was really interested in this show after i saw the commercial. It's a nice change to see that now they're having a tv show that finally looks to the inside, and that this show has nothing at all to do with what's on the outside. Well, ok, some to do with the outside. But it seems like it would be good for some of the more self-centered people to know that it's the inside that counts too, and that looking good on the outside might get you so far, but it won't last as long as being beautiful on the inside.

I'm interested to see what they actually think is "inner beauty"..but i think this would be a good show to watch with my mom and sister.
Its really sad to me how they thik they are so perfect. God created them the way they are, just like he did with everyone else, but why do they have to give themselves the credit? That bugs me a lot.

hey girlie!! I'm totally with ya! I think that this is an interesting take on a reality show, for hollywood at least. I haven't asked my parents yet, but if they say yes then I'm totally planning on watching it! I think they MAY be starting to get the true beauty thing, but you never know, like you said, what their view of true beauty actually is. anyways, if I do get to watch it, I'll try to head back on here and tell y'all what I thought!! I can't wait to hear what y'all's opinion of it is!!

They all were very pretty intel they opened there mouths and you saw how bad they were on the inside. All most all the girls looked alike and the guys weren't all that good looking. But I would like to watch the show and see who has the inner beauty.
