Hang out and have a chat with Lanae’ and you’ll easily be touched by the warmth and down-to-earth qualities, which permeate her expressive music and significant lyrics.

Out of Gainesville, Florida, Lanae’ Hale, who developed her style by playing worship in church and trying out her songs in coffeehouses, is the latest addition to the talented stable of artists at Centricity records. Lanae’s debut and self-penned effort is a 6-song EP that will give you a glimpse into her heart and most likely open up yours in the process.

Lanae’ arrived in Nashville from Florida only a year ago, however, she has been getting ready for this moment, practicing, singing, playing and writing, since she was, well, in her words, ‘little bitty.’ Raised by a musical family including a dad that led worship, Lanae’ has always had a love for music.

Maybe it’s the struggles in her own life that have given her such a practical sensibility, a refreshing sense of humility and a sweet welcoming smile that is likely to captivate anyone that gets the chance to see and hear her.

When Lanae’ arrived in Nashville, she was not one of those people who went around banging on every door with abandonment trying to get that record deal, not even close. “I really felt like if it was indeed meant to be, then God would open that door for me,” she recalls.

Though raised in the Sunshine State there was a time when this songstress struggled through days consumed with dark and negative thoughts, only to come out of them discovering vibrancy in her message and music. “I think I am so excited about things now because I went through a really difficult time but God brought me through it with grace.”

Lanae’ reflects on that period of time when she was not in a good place, sometimes overwhelmed with unhealthy and harmful thoughts. Like a lot of young women Lanae’ felt the enormous pressure of living up to our material world’s 21st century expectations and sometimes that pressure sweeps you into a dark corner. “I was into cutting and if not for the grace of God I may not have made it through. It’s hard to explain but sometimes you don’t like yourself and do bad things to yourself, such as cutting. If I can reach out to God and change then others can as well. More than anything else, I would like to help young girls through my own music and my own testimony.”

Lanae’ discovered that through God, there is always a way out of the darkness and back into the light. “I realized that God loved me. And that’s my prayer really, that my music will be used to reach people, especially young girls who may happen to be going through some of the same trials that I had to go through.”

While Lanae’s brand of music is a bit more subtle than many- her messages are loud and clear. On first listen, what initially hits you is the versatility and range of her voice. She can be porcelain smooth, soft as a prayer and then grab you with a soulful-jazz tinged growl. She has the rare capacity of creating an infectious hook with a simple change of phrasing or by changing the course of a melody with a crisp, clear vocal punctuation mark. Her voice has such range that it’s easy to imagine her leading a sweet choir one moment or a soulful-warehouse jazz unit the next. In the song ‘Stay,’ her call to “please stay,’ builds from a sweet request to a daunting and desperate plea with the capability to take you to your knees.

The EP opens with the hooky, poppy “’Spring Again,” that would sound incredible blasting from your radio speakers and may conjure up comparisons to Sixpence None the Richer or the Cranberries. On ‘Spring Again,’ there’s a lament for the passing of spring, giving way for fallen leaves. In the next track there’s re-birth as, “Alive Again,’ basks in the comfort of God’s grace. The production is crisp, yet pleasantly sparse, allowing her voice to be the focal point. This is the kind of music that sounds better and better every time you hear it. Timeless sounding, first-rate songs have that effect. And the best news is that this is Lanae’s first release. We will hopefully be hearing Lanae’s music for a very long time to come.

Many try but few are successful in generating a genuine connection between the music, listener, and the feeling of a life beyond this one. Yet, where imagination meets the glory of a future reality is where you will find this Toledo, Ohio outfit. The width, length, height, and depth of its calling are expressed in one lyric from the band’s debut album, Even Heroes Need A Parachute.

I get the feeling that I’m not home yet.

“The name This Beautiful Republic signifies a kingdom of faith and love,” explains lead vocalist Ben Olin. “And we chose our album’s title to emphasize the common ground that all humans share. No matter who you are or what you do, the need for a savior is vital. So we hope, beyond anything else, to show people this savior, Christ, and to give listeners a brush with eternity.”

To say that This Beautiful Republic’s debut release evokes strong, positive emotion would be an understatement. Sonically, the band lies somewhere between Switchfoot, Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, and Taking Back Sunday. Heavy guitars, heavier hooks. But beyond powerful, commercial rock choruses and strong, dynamic, melodic songwriting is an element not found many places. It is the presence of something other-worldly that sets this band apart.

“Big choruses are an important part of the songs,” explains Olin. “Anthemic, driving melodies that people can sing along to is what we are about. And they are written with the live show in mind. We want the crowd to be able to partake in this and grab hold of it. We intend to make the music about the listener, not just ourselves.”

It is rare that a debut effort contains such strength from front to back. Consider the track “Cloud Cover.” It is an exercise in ambiance, which moves to a wonderful, wide-open expanse that is the song’s hook. Straightforward in its evolution, the song incorporates purposeful, direct instrumentation as well as structure, taking the listener deep into a heavenly presence. Similarly, debut radio single, “Jesus to the World,” contains a forthright chorus that lingers long after the song is finished, beckoning listeners to connect with heaven. This Beautiful Republic’s rock fills, beats, and riffs offer enough potency to satisfy the most ravenous audience. Added texture intelligently placed with keyboards and samples also make the record three-dimensional.

This Beautiful Republic has placed a heavy emphasis on its live show, stating that the song recordings are meant to be mere glimpses of its performance. Spin kicks, guitar swings, and multiple members in the air are common staples of a show that features a more aggressive feel than the album alone. And whether they are sleeping on floors or facing sleepless nights, hundreds of shows will follow their debut release.

Label innovator Forefront Records stakes its faith in this fresh unit by plotting a massive campaign around Even Heroes Need A Parachute. Citing the group’s universal appeal, there is little question that this move will prove pivotal to all involved. And This Beautiful Republic aims to obey its calling, welcoming and encouraging believers while inviting their searching with open arms.

“God has gifted us in this way, so that’s the main avenue we use. We want people to have a unique encounter with Him using the most powerful medium possible ... music. The confidence to risk doing this comes from the provisions we have experienced. He has always been faithful to help us every step of the way. So, we are going to go where He wants us and embrace His people along the way. If nothing else, we want all to know that there is a real beautiful republic beyond this world, waiting for us to take hold of it in the here and now.”

As a singer/songwriter/musician who plumbs remarkable depths from the platform of youth, hers is the rare gift of visionary insight and inspiration for positive spiritual and social enrichment. She is propelled by the heart of an artist whose creativity is meant to prick our conscience, make us uncomfortable with the status quo – challenge us as human beings to simply “soar higher.”

From raw rock edge, to compelling lyrics and haunting, ethereal vocals, her self written music is at the same time eclectic, reflective and mature, infused with her own profound personal depth of spiritual values.

“God and the message of Christ have been present throughout my life, but the meaning of the message finally sank in for me when I was 14—making me not only truly own my faith but to desire to expand the way I express it through my music—to make it real in a passionate and relevant way.”

Now breaking with her music in the U.S., the soft spoken willowy blonde Canadian teenager who views the world through warm, arrestingly green eyes is also breaking all molds.

With two brilliantly crafted, self-written albums to her credit (including her 2004 breakthrough album, Take Me Home) her latest music collection, Push, received critical acclaim and scored top honors in the ’07 Gospel Music Association of Canada Covenant Awards for the edgy realism of her Push music video. She has also collected multiple wins in Canada’s prestigious Island Music Awards, including 2007 Album of the Year honors for Push.

With the dawn of 2008, Christine Evans is crossing both musical and territorial borders. She has signed in the U.S. for innovative management/developmental career tracking under the umbrella of Showdown Management, whose client roster includes Grammy nominated international breakout band sensation, Paramore, as well as acclaimed rock groups Family Force 5, Tenth Avenue North and producers/songwriters Matt Bronleewe, Dan Muckala, Shane Wilson, Joe Baldridge, and Jason Ingram.

With the alliance comes a studio production deal with Grammy and multi-Dove winning producer, Matt Bronleewe, whose more than 20 million career units include production and songwriter credits for artists as diverse as Australia’s pop sensation Natalie Imbruglia, and Christian music’s Jars of Clay and Michael W. Smith. Bronleewe enthused, “Christine Evans brings a fresh new voice to Christian music. Musically she’s going for the raw and innovative and from a lyrical perspective, she wants to really dig in and show her heart on what is the reality of life and Christianity—whether it’s something personal like a personal loss—or a really big subject on how we deal with God, His mercy and His plan for our lives. And like Rebecca St. James, Joy Williams, and other female artists, she offers a strong woman’s presence to CCM, bringing relevant new insights for our time and for her peers.”

The results of Christine’s partnering in studio with the genius of Bronleewe and her own passion for creating music with a message that tears down all walls is being released as a highly-anticipated EP “Standing on the Edge.”

Christine Evans voice is, above all, an instrument for change.

She is up front about what she believes and will share with anyone who asks. Her lyrics are personal and vulnerable about her experiences and struggles with God. They are clear because Maria never wants people to be mistaken about where she stands. “Christ is everything to me!” she states. She views her music ministry as more than just an opportunity to perform the songs that God has given her. She believes that God has given her these musical talents to speak out on issues that are affecting teens today like: suicide, sex, drugs, and lack of purpose. Through powerful testimonies and sharing the stories behind her songs, Maria gives her audience a meaningful experience that they can all relate with, and challenges them to STANDOUT for God.

Music has always been a huge influence in Maria’s life. During her childhood years her parents were in a traveling singing group and toured all over the US. At age 2 Maria wrote her first song. She has performed on countless stages for many church events and programs. Her passion for making music that speaks to the heart came early in her life when she accepted Christ as her personal Savior at age 12. In high school Maria traveled around Texas as a singing recruiter. Then when she attended SWAU in Texas she traveled to youth conferences, retreats, high schools, camps, camp meetings, and churches all over the U.S. sharing God and music with many teens her age. In her Junior year in college, she decided to become a student missionary on a tiny island called Yap. She taught 6th and 7th grade that year and found a new passion for her life in addition to music. It was there that she made the decision to become a teacher.

After getting her degree in Elementary Education, Maria became a teacher and found her career very fulfilling. In addition to teaching a full load, she also taught guitar and choir for grades K-10, and still found time to write and perform. After three years in Arkansas, God led her into a public high school ministry position for Andrews University in Michigan. Maria spent her time traveling and performing throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. She also established “The Basement”, a weekly public high school ministry in Berrien Springs and then began to train and mentor teens in starting their own ministries. After being told by teens over and over that she needed to make a CD and that her music meant so much to them, she realized that God was telling her to move forward with her music ministry.

Maria recorded her debut album ‘Here With Me’ in the summer of 2006 and released it October 14, 2006 at the Attic Christian Rock Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas. For this album, she found her songwriting inspiration in various places. Some of her songs originated with time that she spent with God in His Word. Others were written through personal struggles she was dealing with. “In Love” was a song that came when Maria was just overwhelmed by God and His Amazing presence. “Here With Me” and “Inside” were written because of experiences that she has had ministering to teens from “The Basement” who are struggling.

It is this kind of personal touch that is the trademark of Maria’s music and ministry. Through Myspace.com, she ministers to hundreds of teens and answers questions of those who are having difficult times or are simply seeking someone who cares to give spiritual advice. Maria Long has a bright future ahead of her. She says often, “God is blessing me faster than I can give Him credit.” God is opening many doors for Maria’s music, her life, and ministry and as long as He continues to open them she will step through…

The Dallas-based band’s latest full-length project marks an official follow-up to 2003’s 'Breaking Beautiful' (though it technically trails last year’s Always Loved You EP) tracing yet another artistic stoke of fresh invention and reinvigoration. When it comes to this “spark” of sorts, the American Christian Music Award nominees were by no means previously lacking in any area, though after a grueling schedule on the road and additionally challenging circumstances, members admit to turning a little rough around the edges.

“We were honestly dragging through the last year or so and there have been a lot of changes as far as our relationships with one another,” says lead vocalist Jenny Simmons, recalling the last few years’ rigorous concert schedule, plus 13 weeks of Lifeway’s Centrifuge Camps in Panama City, Florida while simultaneously serving as worship leaders in Texas. “We were running around so much and spending tons of time and energy getting from one place to the next that it was draining us in every area. When we finally decided to step down from leading worship at the church and really focus on what we wanted to do, we found a feeling of freedom and enjoyment we never had before.”

Indeed a change in commitments coupled with a more specific game plan to pursue artistically and spiritually inspired music (rather than purely praise) as a full-time career path truly found the quintet falling in love with its craft all over again. It also gave everyone enough breathing room to rediscover each other as friends, which besides the husband/wife relationship of Jenny with guitarist/vocalist/piano player Ryan Simmons, had admittedly been treading on thin ice.

“We all liked each other going into the band, but it was more like a job based relationship and we certainly had our moments,” offers lead guitarist/vocalist Ryan Gregg, inciting a round of laugher from his band mates. “It had been our duty to all be together, but when we took a step back, we really started developing true friendships. A lot has happened outside playing gigs to the point where we’re hanging out with one another - playing Frisbee on Tuesdays and even hanging out on the weekends when we’re not touring, which has made us feel like a family.”

Not only have these steps improved relationships with one another outside of the studio and stage, but 'Some Kind of Spark' is sewed together by remarkably cohesive bonds and an unshakeable chemistry. Rather than sounding forced, the writing sessions were incredibly collaborative and even more introspective than before, allowing all to truly feel comfortable with one another and lay out any emotion within the framework of a tune.

“We’ve come to a point where we’re not afraid to write what we’re feeling,” verifies Jenny. “If Ryan and I are going through a roller coaster of craziness in our relationship, we’re ok channeling that into a song. We have all gone through things that have stretched us and made us stronger, which we can get some really great songs out of.”

A case in point comes from the get go with “Breathe You In,” a robust rocker overflowing with hammering passion and unhindered vulnerability. The Travis penned track talks about his desperation to truly maintain relationships with friends and loved ones rather than letting them slip by the wayside, in turn growing in greater commitment to God. The subsequent “Wake Me Up” (written by Ryan Gregg and Jenny) talks about truly living life rather than sleeping through it in a sluggish state, landing somewhere in between a prayer and a motivational plea against complacency. That pair returns with the stirring guitar tones and organics of “Collide,” covering the deep seeded need everyone has to connect with somebody else, which can also be applied in both earthly and heavenly contexts.

“When I look back at a lot of the songs written for this record, a lot of them are so relationally driven,” notices Ryan Simmons. “It’s one of the most frequent topics we write about and people can take them in a variety of different ways. It’s important to us to write about them a lot- both how much of a struggle they can be and how rewarding they are.”

Musically, the band has stretched its already superb sonic landscape to incorporate increased examples of aggression or more indie rock/earthly elements depending on the circumstance. Though members are all committed Christians, they often turn to mainstream music for inspiration, falling somewhere within the complex, female-fronted pedigree of Wilco, Iron & Wine and the Beatles.

As the band looks forward to supporting those sounds on tour with solo headlining dates thanks to its recent partnership with Jeff Roberts & Associates (Casting Crowns, Rebecca St. James, Sonicflood) its players are also excited about a unique outreach opportunity with the Planet Wisdom Tour this fall and next spring. The conference styled movement seeks to inspire and enrich the lives of teenagers through culturally relevant means like music, drama, comedy and noted speaker Mark Matlock.

“We’re really excited about what’s in store and finally have a clear vision on what Addison Road is supposed to do and the way we’re supposed to say it,” sums up Ryan Gregg. “We want to encourage our listeners through what we’ve gone through and let everyone know that life’s too short for regret. Sure, you may have made mistakes in the past, but it’s time to move forward and not let your happiness be taken away from guilt over something that’s already been forgiven. We’ve had to deal with a lot in the past together as a group, but we’ve gotten to a place where we’ve left it in God’s hands and come back a whole lot stronger than we ever were before.”

Sometimes life comes as one surprise after another. Just ask Jaime Jamgochian. This accomplished worship leader/artist/songwriter, whose credentials include a degree from the acclaimed Berklee College of Music in the heart of Boston’s entertainment and cultural community, was undoubtedly on her way to a career in pop music when her life was forever changed.

Now a flourishing young worship artist making her national debut, Jaime is poised to make a different kind of impact. Reason to Live, her new release on the Seattle-based Centricity Records, encapsulates this passionately creative artist who is clearly on the rise and beautifully grounded on a path she could not have predicted.

Jaime grew up in Reading, Mass., where she lived with her parents and younger sister, Julie. She found her true passion when she discovered music through a young friend who was taking piano lessons. When her parents bought her a piano of her own, Jaime quickly learned to play her favorite songs by ear, took lessons and continued through high school with numerous performances and competitions.

“Music was something that I loved and playing the piano seemed to come easy for me” Jaime recalls. “I remember spending hours playing the piano.”

Jaime earned a scholarship to Berklee and entered the prestigious school her first year as a small fish, but quickly made a name for herself. Jaime’s influences were in the pop music field, and she’d been writing some of her own pop songs since high school. Her musical experience at Berklee provided an environment for her to grow as an artist and performer, granting her opportunities to sing background for musical icons like Carly Simon and others who came through the campus for various programs.

But the pressures that come with the whole college experience slowly began to take their toll, and Jaime started to lose the hope she had placed in the wrong places. “It was variety of things – school, life, my boyfriend leaving for a while, all kinds of things going on - I just began to lose some of my joy and my upbeat personality. Eventually, I felt totally desperate.”

A new friend she met on campus began to talk to her about God and as their friendship grew, she introduced Jaime to Christ.

“When I started to read the Bible closely, that’s when I realized that I could really come to know Jesus personally,” Jaime says. “It was a new way of thinking for me, and it became a time of real healing in my life. I think I had lost hope in a lot of areas, but when I became a Christian, things began to click and they made more sense. My whole world turned around completely.”

After graduation, Jaime took an internship at The City Church in Seattle, Washington. “I felt like God was calling me to set aside a year or so to intern there and grow under their leadership.”

But one year turned into seven as she began leading worship for the church youth group, and attendance for the Wednesday night youth events grew from 50 kids up to nearly 1,000. She became involved in outreach and missions programs there, and led worship for conferences every year for thousands of youth.

Jaime’s influence on her own family during this time was huge. Her sister, Julie, had started coming to see Jamie perform in various gospel choirs in Boston and became a Christian not long afterwards. Jaime’s mother flew to Seattle to see Jaime be baptized at The City Church, and during the baptism service went forward to ask Christ into her heart. “When I walked out to be baptized, I saw my mother down at the alter praying for Jesus to come into her heart,” Jaime shares. “It was such a beautiful moment.”

When Jaime’s mother returned home, she began to share with Jaime’s Dad about what had happened to her. A short time later, Jaime’s father also became a Christian. “It’s been like a revival in our household,” Jaime shares.

Perhaps it was providence that placed Jaime in Seattle during those pivotal years. While she honed her skills as a worship leader and saw her family impacted by her faith, the doors also opened for her to find a record label home with Centricity Records, becoming the label’s flagship artist. Working closely with longtime industry veteran and Centricity A&R director John Mays (Point of Grace, Nicole Nordeman), Jaime is now launching her national debut with Reason to Live.

Jaime’s commitment to God and His faithfulness have clearly been the central tenets of her music and ministry. Her life is filtered through her faith, so she yearned to make an album that would reflect just that. With songs that are committed to worship, Reason to Live delivers the right combination of personal honesty with modern, melodic melodies that congregations will easily embrace as part of their worship repertoire.

“Reason to Live,” the title song and first radio single, is an energetic worship song Jaime wrote with songwriter/producer David Zaffiro, who produced four of the album’s tracks. “This title reminded me of some of those Berklee days when I was really looking for hope,” Jaime explains. “I think the nature of this song comes from the Psalms, especially Psalms 139, which says, ‘If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I resign in the depths of the sea, you are there.’ It talks about how God is always there through everything, and he gives us a reason to live. It’s a call to live to worship Him in every area of our lives.”

Jaime also co-wrote five songs with veteran songwriter Gary Sadler, including the melodic, up-tempo “Love Rains Down,” which celebrates God’s forgiveness. “We all make mistakes that we need to ask forgiveness for,” says Jaime. “When I opened my Bible to that scripture that says, ‘As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us,’ it just jumped out at me.” Another album highlight is the vertically-directed “Hear My Worship,” which Jaime co-wrote with songwriter Sam Mizell. “It was probably the hardest song for me to write, but it’s probably my favorite,” she says. “It’s about wanting to come to God and worship honestly, showing him our true intentions and being completely transparent before him. It’s a cry to God – that beyond my bended knees, beyond my lifted hands, beyond the words I sing, God would hear my worship. In my life, my heart and in everything I do, the cry of my heart is that he would hear worship in me.”

It’s remarkable to look at what has transpired and to consider what still may come in the life of this thriving new artist. That’s the stimulus of Reason to Live. It’s a glimpse into the life of one who has experienced first-hand what it means to grow in faith and trust.

“Everything that has happened in my life is not anything I could have planned or mapped out,” Jaime admits. “God has really ordered every step, and when I look back on things, it’s amazing to see how He has really directed each step along the way. More than anything else, I hope I can encourage other people by expressing that through my music.”

With the recent release of their third album, “Symptoms of Love” (Fall 2007), Stephen Speaks - a garage band from the Sooner State - has been shattering barriers in indie music since 1999. With only a home studio, a handful of songs and a whole lot of passion (all without a manager, an agent or even a record label), the band - composed of step-brothers Rockwell Ryan and Dain Samuelson - has managed to sell over 40,000 records, remain one of the top 100 artists on MySpace (since the summer of 2006) and has generated a grassroots fan base with over six million streams online.

The new album, featuring “Disappear,” “Just a Little Girl,” and “1500 Miles,” follows on the heals of their international acclaim from “Passenger Seat” and “Out of my League;” both singles debuted on the bands’ inaugural album “No More Doubt” in 2000. Flash forward a few years and Stephen Speaks topped the radio charts in Asia (2003); the band held the # 1 and #2 spots for over three months, performed four sold out shows to over 20,000 fans and held the #1 video on MTV abroad.

“I have no idea how it happened,” notes Ryan, band front man and producer. “Some college exchange students stuck it on the radio and it just took off. That’s our whole career; we just make music and our fans spread it. It’s been unbelievable.”

Beyond Stephen Speaks, Ryan has had a successful hand at producing several albums for The Hero Factor and Jackson Waters - who signed a record deal shortly after releasing the record.

With much of their success oversees, the band is looking forward to their upcoming U.S. tour with Five Times August this spring. Click here for tour schedule.

Stephen Speaks is available on itunes, Rhapsody, Napster and iSound.

Every teenage summer needs a soundtrack. Every generation looks for a trusted leader of the parade that is LIFE; someone to look to for all things style and substance. From the first sound of percussive can’t-sit-still rock-infused pop on Say It you get the sense that you might have just found the first official “next big thing” for 2007. Tracks like “Set the World on Fire” and “You” certainly feel anthemic and once you see newcomer Britt Nicole’s heart for the youth of this generation it all starts to click. You may have just stumbled across all three.

With such noted producers at the helm as Tedd T. and Double Dutch, Britt’s Sparrow Records debut is a wonderfully textured effort mingling upbeat pop with pensive ballads. The title track, which Britt penned with Cindy Morgan, Jason Ingram and Tedd T. is among the young artist’s favorites. “We were talking about how as people, we tend to live in the past a lot or in the future,” she says. “We rarely live in the NOW and God is in the now. It’s about living in the moment. That’s really the message of Say It - From now on, every second of every minute, I’m living in it.”

The youthful and petite brunette speaks to her generation in a language they understand – seamlessly transitioning from drinking chai tea and texting friends to the deep desire to inspire her peers to be consumed with a passion for God and to know Him deeply. “I personally lived the experience of being raised in church all my life and being a part of youth group. I always sang about God, talked about God, read about God, but I knew, I knew, I knew that there was something more,” shares Britt, who works with the youth group in her home church when she is not on the road. “I meet a lot of young people who have been in church their whole life and know about God but don’t really know Him as their Father and their friend. They see God as so far away and think ‘Does he really understand me and does he really know what I’m going through?’ My heart is to go into those dry, dry places that need water and fresh fire.”

This heart for ministry is nothing new for Britt who at a young age was involved in with her grandfather’s church and TV ministry, singing with her brother and cousin. Her roots go deep, stemming from a long line of loving, Godly family members which helped to develop her heart to sing and to develop her own unique path. Britt knew early on that she wanted to serve God through every part of her life. “God called me into ministry when I was 17,” she says. “I didn’t know if I had anything to say, but I knew God wanted to use me. God was asking me to surrender my life to Him and if I would surrender my whole heart, He would bring every dream to pass. God gave me the scripture 1 Chronicles 28:20, ‘Be strong and courageous and do the work, don’t be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord my God is with you, He will not fail you or forsake you.’” That scripture gave me the courage to say yes to God and has also given me strength in my weakest moments.

Britt, who started writing songs at 16 and has co-written every song on her upcoming release, has found her own direction for her writing and musical style, which is simply an outpouring of her depth and committed spiritual walk as a young woman who loves God intensely.

She doesn’t simply sing about issues surrounding today’s youth, but Britt shares from personal experiences such as her parents’ divorce when she was only seven years old. “Don’t Worry Now” is a song that Britt explains actually healed her personally through writing it. “I talk about things (on the record) that I’ve struggled with, my weaknesses, hurts and own life experiences and just trying to be real,” says Britt. “Through God’s peace and healing in my own life, I feel that I can speak and sing of these things with genuine conviction and passion for those who are in similar places.”

We all need a companion and confidant to get through life’s peaks and valleys – someone to dance with, to cry with and to just be yourself around. For you it might be a journal, a best friend, that perfect summer soundtrack – or all three. Meet Britt Nicole.

When you’re a teenager, there’s almost nothing more important than blending in. You dress the same, talk the same, see the same movies—anything to avoid standing out too much from your peers. But for 18-year-old Jessie Daniels, this wasn’t the way she wanted to live her life. Instead of following the crowd in high school, this New York native embraced her faith and followed her dreams. And her decision to be different—to fully embrace the ups and downs that come with everyday life—has provided the inspiration for her self-titled debut.

Like many successful young artists, Daniels made her performing debut early. Working as an actress since she was eight, Daniels appeared in multiple independent films and commercials for The Lifetime Network and MTV. In addition to print advertising gigs, she also was involved in musical theater and off-Broadway plays. But what Daniels loved more than anything was music, particularly singing. And it wasn’t too long before she’d have the opportunity to showcase the skills that eventually led to “her life’s calling.”

Growing up in what she describes as a “very loud, Italian Catholic family,” Daniels was active in her home church. “I always knew about God, but never really realized you can have a relationship with Him,” Daniels remembers. “It wasn’t until I attended church with a Christian friend that my heart really began to change. For the first time, I experienced God in a real way and saw something new I wanted to commit myself to.”

It was during this time that Jessie also realized there was far more to performing than simply entertaining people. “I remember thinking ‘God, I want to use my singing for you. Lead me.’”

A few months later, Daniels traveled to Nashville to check out the musical possibilities, and “it sort of blossomed from there,” she recalls. In 2003, Daniels began writing and recording her first project, a six-song EP she released independently on her Web site. Before long, her hard work paid off with national attention and, eventually, performances at Radio Disney concert events. After that, additional dates with Kutless, Seventh Day Slumber, Paul Wright, Across the Sky and more positioned the emerging artist in front of an even wider audience.

Knowing it was time for the next step in her career, Daniels met with several record labels and signed with Midas Records as the company’s first faith-based artist.

Midas Records A&R executive Brad Allen explains, “I knew my two-year-long search to deliver music with a positive message to a broader audience was over upon meeting Jessie Daniels. I was convinced instantly that this New York teenager’s talent and message would drive the launch of Midas’ CCM division.”

With the business side of things nailed down, Daniels was free to focus on recording her debut. Teaming up with producer Scott Davis, she co-wrote on all 12 songs. “It’s my goal for these songs to be ‘me’ in every way possible,” Daniels says. “I’m coming alongside people who know me well and understand what I want to say.”

It’s also important to Daniels to make her own mark on the music world. “My songs capture that rock ambience with a pop edge that I love,” says Daniels. “It’s so important to me to find my own identity, and I’m getting to do that on this album.”

Daniels’ first single, “The Noise,” reflects that unique musical vision. But even beyond the catchy hooks, it’s what the song is saying that’s ultimately more important to Daniels. “In the tough times, you want to hear God’s voice through the chaos,” she explains. “It’s cool because The Bible always talks about God’s still, small voice. But yet ‘The Noise’ is this loud, pumpin’ pop/rock song. I guess God speaks to people in different ways.”

In stark contrast to “The Noise,” another song Daniels can’t wait for people to hear is a ballad titled “Hold Me Now,” a song that came out of an extremely painful time in Daniels’ life.

“‘Hold me Now’ is my worship song,” Daniels says. “When most people think of worship, they think of a song like ‘God of Wonders.’ But where I’m coming from here is that you can be different and worship God in your own way.”

When considering her place in the music scene, Daniels’ hope is to encourage Christians and non-Christians alike with a message that continues to have an impact on her.

“For me, growing up in New York and becoming a Christian there, it’s on my heart to show people God in as real and relevant of a way as possible,” Daniels concludes. “Because of how advanced and progressive things are in New York, you’re not going to get through to people unless you’re real, honest, and able to identify with them. That’s how I intend to be about my faith through the music. Obviously, music is what I love, and what I want to do, but ultimately it’s my calling more than a job.”

Now really, we couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

“Until you have given up your self to Him you will not have a real self..."

Lindsey Kane has learned this reality and taken it to heart. As you listen to the words of her songs, it is amazing how many of them might just relate to seasons of your own life. She is a gifted song writer, worship leader, singer and musician who has a knack for getting straight to the heart of the matter in an engaging and compelling way.

Lindsey loves life and she loves people. God has placed in her heart a desire to make others feel special, especially women. One of the ways she is doing that is through her “Measure of Beauty” campaign. God gave her the words and music to this song in college and she has had the privilege of sharing it with thousands of women as God has opened the door through different venues to share His words for true beauty. Lindsey says, “The reason I am so passionate about this is because I know what it’s like to struggle throughout the day and doubt who you have been created to be. I pray that God will remind you that He has formed you in His image.” The words from the song “Measure of Beauty” are directly from scripture – Psalm 45:11, Psalm 139:14, and Song of Solomon 4:7 – and so Lindsey is absolutely confident of the message God has for his children, especially Daddy’s little girls.

Lindsey’s sound is unique. It is a mixture of soft intimate vocals on the piano and then gritty raw vocals on the guitar with an acoustic pop/rock feel. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever heard before. Watching her live in concert, you are captivated by the purity of her heart and her boldness to speak truth as she commentates. Her humor wraps it all together in a package that engages the audience and helps them to feel like they are a part of every song with her. The wisdom she shares is beyond her 24 years – she is incredibly anointed. Of the songs she writes, Lindsey says, “God inspires all of my music and I believe that He gives me all the songs. I love traveling all across the United States with the message of bringing glory to God and passion to people. I think we were created to bring glory to God, so I’m trying to do that through music.”

Lindsey Kane’s goal is to bring glory to God and passion to people specifically through leading worship at all different kinds of events across the country. She hopes to challenge worshippers to worship in Spirit and in Truth, as God desires. Lindsey says, “God has given me a deep passion to lead people in worship to His throne room, past the outer courts and into the Holy of Holies. He is there waiting for His children to lift their voices to Him in authentic worship.”

Lindsey began her relationship with Jesus at the age of 8 when she asked Him to be her Lord and Savior. She has been learning to walk with Him and let Him live within her since that time. Lindsey says, “I am in love with my Savior and Lord Jesus. I was created to worship Him everyday. By His grace, He has given me the passion of worshipping Him through song.”

She grew up in Midland, Texas but moved to Austin, Texas with her family when she was a junior in High School. It was one summer after that move that she decided to teach herself how to play the guitar. Within one week of learning, she wrote her first song. She started playing guitar and learning the typical praise and worship chords. She kept writing songs and playing really small coffee houses as God opened doors. She smiles as she thinks on the days when she sang on praise and worship teams to “…try and get beyond my fear of singing in front of people. Now I do it for a living! God has quite the sense of humor.”

After high school, Lindsey left Austin to attend college at Texas A&M University. It was there during her sophomore year that she heard God’s call to full-time ministry. While finishing her college education, God opened the door for her to begin singing, playing and performing almost every weekend around the state. And once she graduated in December 2004, she accepted God’s call and took the leap of faith to jump into full-time ministry. Now living in Austin again, Lindsey is on the road full-time traveling wherever God takes her all across the country. She has had the opportunity to sing, teach, and/or lead worship at conferences, retreats, seminars, events and camps for men and women of all ages all across the country. Lindsey says, “Each day is a new day where I get to wake up and realize all over again that I have the best job in the whole world, because it’s not even a job, it’s a calling!”

Jami Smith, recording artist and worship leader, travels the United States and the world leading people of all ages to the heart of God through worship. Jami says, “My idea of worship is not a concert, not entertainment, but an interaction between people and God. My hope is to encourage vulnerability before a loving God that we might plead for Him to interrupt our lives.”

Jami most recently released two worship projects “Bravo God” and “Hope of All the Earth”. The refreshing new cd “Bravo God” includes the highly requested “My King”, “Love Like You Love”, and Jami’s rendition of “How Great Thou Art”, as well as the title track. Jami’s first Christmas project “Hope of All the Earth” features a moving and powerful collection of original and traditional Christmas music.

The songs “Salt and Light” and “Wash Over Me” from her 2002 album release “Wash Over Me” were chart toppers on Christian radio in the US. In addition to her own recordings, Jami’s music has also appeared on other various worship collections including Passion, WOW Worship, and both volumes of Open the Eyes of My Heart.

Jami lives in Oklahoma where in 1999 she established Spring Rain Ministries, a non-profit ministry. She spends her time serving in her local community along with a full schedule of leading worship, speaking and writing.
