First thought - "Who is this strange techno-man and why do people like him so much?"
Second thought - "Oh no, the 80's are back."
Third thought - "He's actually kind of catchy and I LOVE what he's done with his website! Just the fact that you can post a thought, an idea, and he's posting along with you...it's different...I like different."
Followed by more thoughts and more listening, and I think I like this guy...although he's a little peppier than any man I have ever met. What I like most about him, however, is that he says on his MySpace page "I follow Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. He is my life, my strength, my all." That's enough for me. My guess is that you guys have been listening to him for a while so let us know what you think! What is it you like about him and his music?

YES!!! My best friend first introduced me to Owl City and the song Fireflies. I totally fell in love with it :) AND my mom even likes it! :) Since then I've heard some more of his music, and I'm really considering getting the Ocean Eyes album (which the mp3 version is on sale on Amazon for the month of November, if anyone was wondering!) Had no clue he was a Christian, but that just makes it awesomer!! :)

I love Owl City!
His lyrics are absolutely adorable.
When I'm in a bad mood, they always cheer me up!
Before I saw this, I thought he maybe a Christian, one of his songs...Tidal Wave I *think*, he sang about getting hope from above.
It makes me happy to find out that he really is Christan. ^_^

As a mom of a 9 year old girl and 5 year old boy, it is hard to find "cool", upbeat music that does not have a negative message. Owl City is someone we can we can listen to and enjoy!!

So i just started listening to him. Hadn't even heard of the band until I went to college. But now he is the most popular artist on campus. I love his sound. his songs have this odd, kinda optimistic sound, yet it prompts the same sort of inward reflection and raw emotional connection that I love in sadder songs from other bands. Hope he keeps up the good work. I've never heard a song from Owl City that I didn't like!

My family (OK, not sure about my husband yet) LOVE Owl City!!! We just discovered him and can't quit listening to him. And all I ever listen to is Christian music. I think his CD "Ocean Eyes" is just hilarious and cute. Love it!!! I have a 13 year old daughter and an eleven year old son.

owl city is ausm!!!! i replay fireflies so many times, i have almost completely memorized it! i think its great that he wholeheartedly follows Christ. That is a positive for anyone!

I really like owl city and hearing that the singer is a Christian made my musical interest in the band significantly higher! I'm glad that they are facing the secular world with their music and testiomony! I mean, they're pretty high up on iTunes, too, so that's just amazing to me!

Fireflies used to be the free single of the week - now it's the #1 most downloaded song on iTunes! Like everyone else is saying, I absolutely love how upbeat and happy the songs are. And the fact that he's a Christian just makes me love him that much more! Yay Owl City :)

So I am so excited to hear that Owl City is Christian!!! That makes my heart happy!! I started listening to him this summer when my boyfriend's brother introduced me to his music! My absolute favorite song is Vanilla Twilight! The words in the song are so amazing! Not just anyone could come up with the lyrics he uses in his songs! It's so cool! And the music just touches my heart! I give Owl City FIVE STARS!! Go Owl City!! Whooo!! :)

Yes, Adam really IS a wonderful Christian man. My son tours with him and I couldn't be happier to know that the band members and most of the crew are strong Christians as well. What a beautiful light in the music industry. Listen to the words to his song Meteor Shower and you'll see that he's talking about our Lord.

I have never really like Owl City and i thought their sound was really annoying but then i saw his website and that he was a Christian, and that was cool to me to see that even Christian can produce some of the most popular music. So yay for Owl City!

my friend introduced me to owl city in the fall, and me and my ex made fireflies our song :( it brings back alot of sad memories for me, but i love owl city's music...the christmas song says "I believe that Jesus is truly the only way
I celebrate Christmas because it’s his birthday". When I heard it I was ecstatic and I figured he was a Christian :) I'm so happy a popular artist is a Christian...his music is awesome

i love owl city because his music is soothing and "sweet." he has cute ways of phrasing things... and i love how he's a Christian! (i didn't know that till my bro pointed it out 2 me on his "ocean eyes" album cover!)
